WWE presents The Royal Rumble 2011 live on PPV  which will take place on Sunday, January 30, 2011 at 8 PM ET live at the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts.  It will be the 24th annual Royal Rumble event.

This 40-man match starts off with two men. Every 90 seconds another wrestler enters the bout. A wrestler is eliminated from this match when he is thrown over the top rope and both of his feet touch the arena floor. The winner of this bout gets a main event title match of their choice (either WWE or World Heavyweight Championship) at WrestleMania XXVII.

 The Royal Rumble will feature professional wrestling matches that involve different wrestlers from pre-existing scripted feuds, plots, and storylines that will be played out on World Wrestling Entertainment’s (WWE) primary television programs. Wrestlers will portray villains or heroes as they follow a series of events that build tension, and culminate in a wrestling match or series of matches, including the Royal Rumble match.
