Yuriorkis Gamboa vs Jorge Solis Results: Gamboa defeated Solis via 4th Round TKO

Earlie:r: Featherweight Division Yuriorkis Gamboa vs. Jorge Solis is a Boxing of WBA Super World Featherweight and IBF Featherweight fight on Saturday, March 26, 2011 at Boardwalk Hall, Atlantic City, New Jersey, United States live  on HBO TV.

Gamboa is the second ranked player and has a 19-0 record so far. With a reach of 65”, he will look to ensure that he can try and knock out the contender as soon as he can. However, Solis has a better height and that should give him some advantage, apart from his experience in featuring in these bouts.

With a reach of Solis the way it is, it should give them more advantage but Gamboa will continue to go into the game as a favourite. Solis has a 40-2-2 record going into the fight.

Earlier: Expect some fireworks when Fernando “Cochulito” Montiel put his Bantamweight Title on the line against two-division world champion Nonito “The Filipino Flash” Donaire on Saturday, February 19, 2011 live at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. Both fighters have shown a very impressive performance on their previous fights and lot of boxing fans predicted that the Fernando Montiel vs Nonito Donaire match will be a bloody match that will surely be written in the boxing history of great fights and should be watched by every boxing fanatics out there.

Fernando Montiel of Mexico has a record of 43-2-2 and has been in great from recently he will be looking go out there and get another win under his belt and his career record is pretty impressive to say the least with 43 wins under his name and out of which 33 came as the result of knock outs and he will be looking to make a good impact in this one as well.

On the other hand, Nonito Donaire from Philippines is coming from a impressive win against Wladimir Sidorenko is getting increasingly popular among the boxing fans and has been nicknamed as the “The Filipino Flash” he will be hoping to get something big in this match and this is probably his biggest test so far in his career and he himself have a great record of 25-1 and 17 of his wins were in the result of KO’s

Current WBA Super Lightweight World Champion, Amir Khan (23-1, 17 KOs) makes the third defense of his WBA light-welterweight title against hard hitting Argentine Marcos Maidana (29-1, 27 KOs) on December 11, 2010 live at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas. The Khan vs Maidana boxing fight will be televised by HBO starting at 9:30pm ET. The fight will be accompanied by an undercard bout featuring Victor Ortiz vs Lamont Peterson.

Will Khan emerge unscathed as the winner, or even turn in the kind of star making performance many believe he's capable of?  Or can Maidana upset the flashy Brit's future plans with one wild right hand?
